Tradition with a future

In 1960, Master Organ Builder Josef Raffin founded his workshop in Überlingen. His fascination with street organs only arose years later as he began to restore old such instruments - ultimately leading him to develop a street organ based on the latest technology. This organ struck a chord with a growing circle of enthusiasts of mechanical music, and so he was soon able to produce his first series of street organs.

The extraordinary rich sound of the high-quality pipes and the above-average high quality of his products helped the company to achieve great success. The product range has been constantly expanded and the inventory of music rolls has also increased.

Friendly relationships and the spreading of joy through music continue to shape our dealings with both street organ enthusiasts as well as all our customers to this day.

Perfection by Love for detail

Every organ is unique!

Our painters transform each organ into a piece of Art - individually and according to your wishes. For many models we also offer walnut cases with exclusive Italian inlays - bestowing a particularly special elegancy to each organ.
The brass fittings are gold-plated, giving the organs a unique and unmistakable shine. All wooden pipes are individually made in-house and voiced from carefully selected, well-seasoned wood. An elaborate varnish dipping process offers the best possible protection against moisture.
The bellows are formed from durable goatskin - with their exceptional air capacity guaranteeing the highest richness of tone on all music rolls.
